Bunny Reading a Bedtime Story to Baby Bunnies Coloring Page

A grown rabbit sits on a blanket with an open book held up in both paws, the pages angled so the listeners can see them. Three small rabbits crowd in around it. Two of them sit close together right in front of the book with their paws at their mouths, and the third is off to the right, up on its haunches with one paw raised toward the page as if asking about the picture.

All four are built from the same soft rounded shapes: long oval ears with an inner line, a single filled eye seen from the side, a small nose and a pair of front teeth. The blanket is drawn as a simple wavy edged patch laid over the ground with a few grass tufts pushing up along its border.

Nothing surrounds the group, so the whole scene floats on white paper. Four figures at three different sizes gives a child an easy way to practice: pick one color family and use a lighter version of it for each smaller rabbit, and the family relationship comes through without any shading.
