A zebra foal stands side on facing left with its head turned toward you, ears up and a short brushy mane standing along its neck. The legs are long and thin and the body is still small, which is how a foal is built.
The stripes run wide, with big clear gaps of plain coat between them, and they change direction the way real zebra stripes do: near vertical over the shoulder, angling back along the ribs, and wrapping into narrow rings down the legs. There is a lot of white paper left between them.
This is a page that argues for leaving most of it alone. The stripes already give the animal its pattern, so the gaps can stay as paper and the sheet still looks complete. That makes it a good one for a child who likes a quick result.
If you would rather color it, the gaps take a warm cream or a pale gray without fighting the stripes, and the muzzle and the inside of the ears are the two places a soft pink belongs.
The one thing worth avoiding is coloring the gaps dark. The whole drawing depends on the contrast between stripe and coat, and a dark coat collapses it into a single shape.
