Baby Goat Kid Jumping Coloring Page

A goat kid is in the air. Its front legs are tucked up under its chest, its back legs are kicking out behind it and all four feet are clear of the ground, which is the pose every young goat spends its days trying to achieve.

Nothing has been drawn under it. No ground line, no dust and no motion lines. The animal simply hangs in the middle of an empty page, and that emptiness is what sells the jump. A drawn-in field would have pinned it back down.

Two small curved horns sit on top of the head above a scruffy tuft, two long ears stick out sideways, and the face carries one large eye and a short smiling muzzle. The body has no markings on it anywhere.

Because the legs are thin and the body is one open shape, this is a page that suits colored pencils better than thick crayons. The four hooves and the two horns are small enough to want a point on them.

White with gray hooves is the plain answer. A brown and cream kid with a dark face is the more interesting one, and the face is already separated from the body by the line of the neck, so it takes a second color without any extra work.
