Everything about this cabin is one big triangle. The roof starts at a sharp point high on the page and runs in two straight slopes right down to the ground, so the roof and the walls are the same thing, which is exactly what makes A frames fun to draw. Horizontal boards band the whole face from top to bottom. A tall window with its own pointed top and six panes sits up in the gable, a paneled door with four panes and a handle stands in the middle at ground level, and a low deck with upright railings runs out on both sides of the door with a step down to a thin ground line. One pine tree stands to the right. This is the calmest page in the collection and the best one for anyone who likes filling in bands. The siding lines run the full width of the triangle and there are more than a dozen of them, so a shift of shade from top to bottom produces a smooth gradient with no blending skill required at all. Keep the pine tree in a single tone so it stays quiet, and let the cabin front carry the whole page.
