Feminine Figure With Rose Garland And Ornate Frame Coloring Page

A young woman is framed inside a tall oval, shown from the waist up and turned slightly toward you, with long hair swept over one shoulder and gathered at the side. A single rose sits above her ear. A garland of roses and leaves runs diagonally across her bodice from shoulder to waist, and a larger cluster of roses and foliage banks up at the bottom of the frame where it breaks the oval line. More roses crown the top. Down each side of the oval sit slim scroll ornaments finished with solid black dots. The line work is clean and open with no hatching anywhere, which makes this the most beginner friendly page in the art nouveau set despite carrying a figure. Skin tone is the only hard decision. Because nothing on the face is shaded for you, one flat pass of a pale color across the face, neck and arms works better here than any attempt at modeling. Save the effort for the roses, of which there are about eighteen, and give them at least two different colors so the garland reads as a garland rather than a stripe.
