Art Nouveau Fountain With Water Lily Basins Coloring Page

Three shallow basins stack up this fountain on one slender curving column, and each basin spreads into a plain scalloped rim that catches the water spilling over the tier above it. The shapes here are large and open, so the page rewards a slow gradient more than a busy palette. Run one stone tone down the column and let it lighten as it drops toward the base. The round pool at the foot holds a few open lilies and flat pads, and those are the only small shapes on the whole sheet, so save your brightest pink or yellow for them and let them carry the color. The wide white margin around the fountain is deliberate. Leave it open and the stacked tiers read as pale stone standing in clear air.
