Beach Scene With Sandcastles And Waves Coloring Page

Two sandcastle towers rise from a low mound of sand in the lower half of this page. Each one is a tall cone with a row of rounded bumps circling it just below the peak, and a thin pole sticks up from the top carrying a pennant that ripples out to one side. The taller of the pair has three small arched windows cut into the front of it. A plain rounded lump of packed sand sits off to their left.

The sea is drawn as a flat horizon line with a handful of gentle wave crests running parallel to it, and one small rocky island breaks the line over on the left. Nearer the shore, two longer curves mark where the water has run up the beach.

Small oval pebbles and shells are scattered across the sand. Above the horizon the paper is left entirely empty, which is well over a third of the sheet. Everything drawn here is a single clean outline and the shapes are large, so this is a page a young colorist can finish without help and then add a sun, gulls or a boat to the blank sky.
