Child Carrying A Pumpkin Coloring Page

A child carries a pumpkin across this page, holding it in both arms against their chest. The pumpkin shows three curved ribs and a short stem, and it has no carved face. The figure stands in profile with one eye, a small nose, and a short smile, wearing a jumper with a ribbed collar and cuffs, plain trousers, and boots. The whole body stays visible around the pumpkin, head to feet. Carrying something is a surprisingly tricky pose to draw for a coloring page, because arms and object tend to blur into one shape. Here the pumpkin sits clear of the body with its own outline, so a child can color it separately without guessing where one thing ends and the next begins. The ribbed collar and cuffs give an older colorist something small and repetitive to enjoy. The jumper itself is one big open area for anyone who wants to move fast. Color the pumpkin orange and the clothes in anything at all. Print this one in the week before a trip to a pumpkin patch.
