Mushrooms Poking Through Fallen Leaves Coloring Page

The forest floor is deep in leaves here, and three mushrooms have pushed up through them into clear air. Fallen leaves cover most of the lower half of the page, each one outlined separately with a central vein running down it, overlapping and layered right to the bottom edge. The mushroom caps rise clear above the litter so they stay readable against all that detail. This is the densest sheet in the collection and the one that takes longest. Leaves are forgiving. No two need to match, and colors that would clash anywhere else look fine scattered through a leaf pile. That makes this a good page for using up whatever is left in the tin. The mushrooms want a different approach. Keep them to one or two quiet tones so they stand apart from the noise below, otherwise the whole page turns into texture and the subject disappears into it. Hand this sheet to a patient colorist rather than a hurried one.
