Mushroom Patch With Acorns And Pinecones Coloring Page

A patch of mushrooms grows in the middle of this page with woodland debris scattered on the ground around them. Acorns lie on their sides, each one a smooth oval under a textured cap. Round cones sit among them, drawn as clusters of small scales. Tall grass pushes up between the mushroom stems, and the caps above carry small marks across their surfaces. Everything here is small, which is the character of the page. There is no single large shape to fill, so it works best for someone who likes detail and has the patience for it. Acorns take a warm nut brown almost automatically, and keeping them in the same family of tones ties the scattered objects together into one forest floor rather than a set of unrelated items. The grass is the one place to use a cooler color. Printed alongside the fallen leaves sheet, this pair makes a decent autumn set for an older child.
