Mushroom Chef With A Wooden Spoon Coloring Page

A mushroom in an apron holds a wooden spoon up in one hand, mid stir. The apron covers most of the stem and ties at the back with a small bow, and the spoon handle passes properly through the hand so the tool is held rather than hovering. A broad spotted cap sits above, and the stem widens out into a solid base. The apron is the largest open shape on the page and the obvious place for a strong color or a pattern. Stripes, checks and polka dots all work, and adding a pattern that is not already drawn in is good practice for a child who has started getting bored of filling shapes flat. The spoon takes a warm wood tone and almost nothing else. Cooking sheets land well with children who like helping in the kitchen, and this one has a natural companion in the mushroom holding a watering can elsewhere in this collection.
