Hedgehog Walking Past Two Mushrooms Coloring Page

A hedgehog trots along the ground past a pair of mushrooms, the taller of which stands up above its back. Its spines cover the whole upper body as rows of separate strokes with white paper showing between them, and its face is drawn at the front with a pointed snout and one round eye. Grass tufts grow around its feet and a few leaves drift in the air above. Spines look harder than they are. Nobody needs to color between every one of them. A light wash across the whole back with a few of the individual strokes picked out darker reads perfectly well as a hedgehog and takes a fraction of the time. Save the effort for the face and the mushrooms instead. Hedgehogs are a reliable favorite with younger children, and this page sits comfortably beside the squirrel and the mouse family in the same collection. Print the three together and you have a small woodland cast rather than three unrelated sheets.
