Sun And Moon Combined Yin-yang Mandala Coloring Page

At the middle of this mandala a circle is divided into a yin and a yang, with a sun face holding one open eye on the left and a crescent moon packed with small rings on the right, the moon side inked solid black. A toothed ring encloses them both. Out from that runs a wide corona of leaf shaped rays covered in fine parallel veining, and set among the rays at twelve points are heavy black arrowheads with hearts cut out of them, the darkest marks on the page. A faint circle passes behind everything, and four sprays of flowers and curls sit in the corners on white paper. The contrast is already built in for you. With the moon half and those twelve arrowheads solid black, this sheet needs only one or two colors to look finished. A warm palette on the sun side of the corona and a cool one on the moon side, split along the same axis as the middle circle, is the obvious scheme and it reads clearly from across a room. Keep the corner sprays pale.
