Sixteen spearhead points make up the rim of this mandala, and inside each one a set of squares and diamonds is nested one within another, three or four deep. The drawing style is noticeably rougher than the other geometric sheets: the lines have a brushy quality with visible thick and thin sections, giving the design a hand cut look closer to a woodblock print than a compass drawing. A wide open ring separates the points from the middle, and at the very center sits a clean white hole with nothing in it at all. Those nested squares are what to plan around. Running a single color from dark on the outermost square to light on the innermost, repeated identically in all sixteen points, produces a strong radiating effect for very little effort. The empty ring around the middle is deliberate breathing space and looks best left white or given the palest possible tint. There are perhaps eighty regions here in total, which puts this in the middle of the group for time and well inside one sitting.
