This is the densest sheet in the geometric set. The surface is broken into tile panels that fit against each other with no space between them, and each kind of tile carries its own motif: some hold a four petal flower, some are ruled with chevron ribbons that bend around corners, and others open into small fans. A star with many stacked layers occupies the middle, and the outer edge is finished with a beaded band and a row of notched points. Counting the individual areas is pointless, there are well over a thousand, and giving each one a separate color will take days and look like noise. The method that suits a mosaic is the one real tilers use: choose four colors, assign one to each type of tile, and repeat that assignment rigidly across the whole field. The pattern then organizes itself into rings and rosettes you cannot see in the line art at all. Sharp pencils are essential. A gel pen works too if you prefer to fill only the small flower centers and leave everything else white.
