Simple Flower Mandala With Rounded Petals Coloring Page

A ring of solid black spearheads sits about a third of the way out from the middle, and it is the strongest element on the sheet. Everything else works outward from there: a plain open circle at the very center, a rosette of small pointed petals wrapped around that circle, then two ranks of broad rounded petals opening to the edge of the design, with slim leaf points pushing through the gaps between the outermost ones. Because the black band arrives already filled in, the page has a built in anchor, and colors chosen around it will look deliberate rather than scattered. The petals themselves are completely plain inside, no veins, no texture, nothing to work around, so this is a sheet for flat bold color or for a blended gradient running from the tip of each petal down to its base. Markers will not bleed here because the divisions are wide. It is also one of the few mandalas on this site that still looks right if you color half of it and leave the rest as line work.
