Be warned that this is the densest page in the easy set, and the label undersells it considerably. The design runs right out to the margins of the square with layer upon layer of pointed petals, and the individual cells get small quickly.
It starts at a tiny hub, barely more than a ringed dot. Around that, petals fan out in ring after ring, each ring larger than the last and each individual petal carrying either a small heart, a chevron or a narrower petal nested inside it. The rings do not sit neatly on top of one another; they interlock, so a petal in one ring slots into the gap between two petals in the ring below.
The outer edge is where the wave in the title comes from. Rather than closing on a circle, the silhouette rises and falls in a scalloped rhythm all the way around.
Pencils are the only sensible choice here. Marker will flood two cells at once in the inner third.
Given the scale, resist trying to color every cell differently. Choose a value per ring and let the nesting shapes inside stay white. The sheet reads far better with that breathing room than it does fully filled.
