Submarine Exploring The Ocean Depths Coloring Page

The submarine runs nose right across the middle of the page, and nearly every panel of its hull is filled in with pattern: paisley teardrops, scrollwork and rows of tiny beads. A large round port at the bow holds a curved fan of blades inside a heavy ring. A line of oval windows runs the length of the flank, a rudder and two fins sit at the tail, and one long fin juts out to the left with a bar laid across it. The conning tower carries square windows, a railed walkway, a pair of periscopes and a ladder, while a thin aerial curves away from it toward the upper left. Bubbles of several sizes rise through the water around the boat. Flowers with long scrolling vines fill both top corners beneath a small crest, and the bottom quarter is a thick bed of blossoms, ferns and seaweed fronds.

Make yourself a plan before you touch the hull. Its panels are all different, so treating each as its own small piece beats trying to run one color the whole length of the boat. Fine pens will serve you better than crayons.
