The car is drawn straight on from the front, symmetrical down the middle, which is the easiest angle for a child to color and the reason this sheet works for young hands. A three section light bar sits across the roof, the word POLICE runs in blocky letters across the grille, and two round headlights sit low on either side of it. Through the windscreen you can make out two seat backs, the steering wheel and a mirror. A push bumper with two upright bars crosses the front, and a blank plate in the middle of it can be filled with any number a child likes. Several parts arrive already solid black, the tires, the wheel arches and the lower sides, so the vehicle will read correctly even if only the roof and hood get any color. Patrol cars across most of the country are black and white or dark blue, and a soft gray shadow has been drawn underneath to sit the car on the road. Red and blue on the light bar are the only two colors this page really needs.
