Hot Air Balloon Floating Over A Town Coloring Page

Nearly two thirds of this sheet belongs to the balloon, a tall rounded envelope split top to bottom by long curved seams into panels of roughly equal width. Below the widest point the seams gather into a narrow skirt, and rigging lines drop from there to a burner frame and on to a square basket edged with a band of short ticks. The town sits low on the page in thin, light outline. Rows of small houses with pitched roofs and shuttered windows follow a low ridge, a slim church spire rises behind them slightly right of center, and two lesser towers stand close by. A round leafy tree anchors either end of the strip while soft hill lines roll away on both sides.

Those panels are asking for a repeating pattern, so choose two or three colors and alternate them around the envelope. Keep the town much paler than the balloon above it. The buildings are drawn in lighter line for a reason, and heavy color down there would pull the eye straight off the sky.
