Number 6 With a Bumblebee Coloring Page

A large numeral 6 fills the middle of this printable sheet with a smiling bumblebee flying alongside it. The 6 is one of the two digits children most often draw backwards, and the fix is almost always physical rather than verbal, so before any colour goes down, put a finger at the top of the tall curve and slide it down and round into the loop. Do that three or four times and the direction usually sticks. The numeral is drawn as a thick bubble outline with a wide open loop, which gives a small hand two clear areas to fill and a satisfying shape to finish. The bee keeps open outlined stripes rather than solid black bands, so there is something to colour on every part of it.
