Somebody got here first. A large ring donut fills the page with a rounded chunk missing from its upper right side, and the torn edge is drawn as a row of small curved scallops where the teeth went through. The rest of the donut is intact. A thick glaze runs around the top with a wavy lower edge, about twenty small oval sprinkles are scattered across it, and the hole in the middle is one big clean circle. There is nothing else on the sheet. Lines here are fine rather than heavy, which makes this a better page for colored pencil than for a thick marker. Children notice the bite immediately, and it usually changes how they color the page. The bitten area exposes the cake inside the donut, so the natural move is to use one color for the glaze on top and a different one for the pale part showing through the gap. Point that out before they start and the sheet teaches something about how a drawing shows the inside of a thing. It also makes a good first page for anyone who has just learned that they are allowed to draw food that is halfway eaten.
