Axolotl Drinking Boba Coloring Page

An axolotl stands behind a bubble tea cup with its front legs resting against the sides and a wide straw rising from the lid past its head. Three feathery gill branches sweep back from each side of its head, which is the feature that makes an axolotl look like nothing else. Its long tail curves away behind it and its four stubby legs splay out to the sides. Those gill frills are the reason to slow down on this sheet. They take a pale pink beautifully, and adding a slightly deeper pink at the tips makes them look soft rather than spiky. The body stays paler than the frills, somewhere between cream and blush. Then go somewhere different with the drink so the two do not blur together: a green matcha or a deep brown milk tea both hold their own next to a pink axolotl. The pearls fill the lower half of the cup and each one is drawn open, so they take a darker tone well.
