Letter T Is for Turtle Coloring Page

A hollow capital T and a hollow lowercase t sit at the top of this sheet, and a turtle walks along below with a smooth domed shell. The capital T is two strokes, an upright post with a bar laid across the top, and it is among the first capitals most children can produce reliably. The lowercase t is close but not identical, because the post rises above the crossbar and usually curves at the foot, and children who draw a lowercase t as a small capital end up with a letter that reads oddly. Having both on one page makes that comparison easy. The turtle's shell is divided into a few large plain panels rather than a fine mosaic, so it colours as a handful of clear areas and a child can give each panel its own shade without the page turning into detail work.
