Detailed Haunted Mansion Coloring Page

A large symmetrical mansion drawn across three floors, with a dormer window in each wing, a round window in the central gable and a chimney at either end. A balcony sits above the front door on slim columns, and clipped bushes run along the base.

This is the longest sheet in the collection. There are more than twenty windows, every one divided into panes, and working through them is the whole point rather than an obstacle. Fine pens and colored pencils suit it. Crayons do not.

The panes are the decision that shapes the page. Taking them all to one dark tone makes the house read as shut up and empty. Leaving a handful white turns them into lit rooms and the building comes alive. Doing half of each looks like someone is moving between floors, which is the most unsettling option of the three.

Symmetry is the pleasure here. Both wings mirror each other exactly, so a color laid on the left has an obvious home on the right, and the finished sheet looks deliberate even when the palette is wild. The bushes are loose and rounded, an easy green break between the fussier passages above them.
