A hand comes up from the bottom edge of this sheet, gripping two thin wires with the thumb folded over them and a plain band on one finger. The sleeve of a jacket ends at the wrist. Above the fist those wires disappear into two dense bursts of straight lines, one slightly higher than the other, each radiating from a small point that has been left white so it reads as the hot core. Some lines end in a blunt dart, some in a teardrop, and the two bursts overlap enough in the middle that their sparks tangle. The rest of the page is a slow drift of open circles in a dozen sizes, tiny five petal flowers, dots and falling teardrops, with a small bottle shape off to the right. Two leafy vines curl in from the lower corners. Only the hand carries any shading, put in as short parallel strokes. Keep those burst centers white, hold the sparks light, and let your color build up in the circles and the vines instead.
