Countdown Clock Showing Midnight New Year Coloring Page

One clock fills this page almost corner to corner. A thick double rim wraps the outside, and inside it twelve teardrop markers sit evenly around the edge, each with a small tail pointing in toward the middle. There are no numbers on the face at all, which keeps the sheet clean and keeps it from belonging to any particular year. The long hand rises straight up to the top marker where midnight falls, and two shorter hands swing out to either side of it. A scatter of open stars drifts across the upper right corner with one loose ribbon trailing behind them. Because so much of the face is empty white, the markers are where your work will show. Give all twelve the same treatment and the clock looks made; give them alternating shades and it starts to look like a counting game. Leave the center pale so the hands stay readable, and save the darkest tone for the outer rim so the whole circle holds its shape on the paper.
