The heart is laid down in one confident stroke with a deep notch at the top and a sharp point at the bottom, and then it is very nearly buried. Blossoms grow along its upper curves and across its inside, each a flat simple flower of five or six rounded petals with a small ringed circle at the middle. They arrive in three or four sizes, and the biggest sit at the shoulders where there is room for them.
Vines take over from there. Leafy runners escape from behind the outline and trail away to the left and the right, curling downward and crossing beneath the point, so the shape you end up coloring is considerably wider than the heart itself.
Every leaf is a plain pointed oval with a single center rib, and there are enough of them to suggest real overgrowth without any one of them being hard to fill.
This is a simple tier sheet with big closed areas and white paper all around it. It suits the front of a homemade card, and it stays readable even if you shrink it down.
