This is a scene with a story attached and nobody in it yet. A wooden tray sits in the middle of a made up bed carrying two round mugs, a small egg in its cup, a shallow plate and a bundle of cutlery. Both mugs have been pressed into service as vases and hold sprays of daisies and long bladed leaves that lean out over the edges of the tray.
The bed takes up the whole lower half of the paper. Its cover is drawn in long soft folds that ripple away toward you, and two plump pillows are stacked at the head against a wide board.
A tall window runs almost to the top of the sheet, divided into small panes by heavy bars. Through it you can see a low sun, a few flat clouds and a range of jagged peaks along the horizon. The curtains are swept back to either side in deep vertical folds, and a lamp on a slim stand leans in from the left.
There is a lot of open space on this one, which means it prints well at full page size and gives a beginner room to move.
