Witch's Cauldron Bubbling With Glowing Potions Coloring Page

A three legged cauldron sits over a fire with bubbles rising out of the top and a wooden spoon leaning against the rim. Jars, a book and a few ingredients sit around the base. The bubbles are drawn as clear circles of varying size floating upward, and the whole thing is kept large and uncomplicated. Children of five and over will finish this one in a single sitting.

Those rising bubbles are the whole opportunity. Fill them in a sequence, greenest at the cauldron rim and shifting through yellow to pink at the top of the page, and the potion will look like it is changing as it rises. Leave one white dot on each bubble. The cauldron itself is best in a dull black or dark gray so all the brightness stays where the bubbles are.

Cauldrons hung on chains over the fire were the ordinary cooking pot in most European homes for centuries. The three legs exist so the pot can stand directly among the embers once it is lifted off its hook.
