Three cookie people share this page. Two tall ones stand side by side across the upper half, facing forward with their arms down and a little away from their bodies, and a smaller one stands on its own lower down, centered in the gap between them.

They are drawn to the same recipe at two sizes. Each has a round head with two dot eyes and a curved smile, a line of open circle buttons down the front, and arms that end in a plain rounded mitt. The two tall ones have a straight cuff line across each leg just above a wide rounded foot. The small one is simpler than either of them, a single continuous outline from head to feet with no cuffs on it at all.

All that repetition is an opportunity. Color the three of them identically and they become a matched set of cookies off one tray. Color them differently and they become a family, which is the version most children choose within about ten seconds of starting.

Nothing on this page overlaps anything else. Every figure stands clear of the other two against bare white paper, so there is no junction to puzzle out and no line doing duty for two shapes at once. The shapes are large and open all the way through, which suits a crayon as well as it suits a pencil.
