Gingerbread Man Template With Arms Raised Coloring Page

Both arms go straight up over the head here, bending in at the top into rounded mitten ends, so the cookie reads as cheering rather than standing to attention. The raised arms also change the silhouette: it is tall and narrow instead of wide, which suits a tree ornament better than the usual spread-armed shape does.

The head sits low between those arms, tucked in close enough that the three shapes almost touch. On it are two ringed eyes and a wide curved smile and nothing else.

Down the chest are three open circles for buttons. Apart from those the body carries no icing, no cuffs and no pattern at all, so the legs, the arms and the broad rounded feet are large connected areas of white.

This makes it a good page for a group. Twenty children can color the same template and no two come back alike, because almost every decision is still open when the page comes off the printer.

If you want to cut it out, print on 160 gsm cardstock or heavier. The outline is one continuous line with no narrow bridges in it, so scissors follow it without tearing, and the raised arms leave an obvious place for a ribbon.
