This rangoli is built for small hands. One large plain circle sits dead in the middle with nothing inside it, and eight fat rounded petals fan out around it like a flower. Between and behind those petals sits a second ring of smaller circles and rounded lobes, so the outer edge of the design comes out scalloped rather than smooth. There are no thin lines anywhere.
