This is a head and shoulders portrait of a shark and it is mostly mouth. The grin opens almost the full width of the face, with a row of big triangular teeth top and bottom, each drawn as its own closed shape with a clear gap beside it. There are close to forty of them in total. The eye is a single round shape with a highlight, there is a nostril dot on the snout, and the pectoral fins spread out on either side. No background, no water, nothing else on the sheet. The teeth are what make or break the result. Leave every one of them white and put a mid tone inside the mouth behind them, and the whole thing snaps into place. Fill the mouth pink instead and it turns cartoonish, which is also fine if that is the effect you want. Six and up. Behind the working row, a great white carries several more rows of replacement teeth lying flat, and they rotate forward as the front ones break off, which is why the front row always looks new.
