Rottweiler Puppy With Loyal Expression Coloring Page

This rottweiler puppy sits and looks directly out of the page. The body faces forward, one back leg folds out to the side, and the tail curls around behind the hind paws.

Two dark patches sit above the eyes where a rottweiler's tan markings go. They are filled solid, which is the one bit of heavy ink on an otherwise open sheet, and they give the face the raised eyebrow look the breed is known for. The muzzle is broad and blunt, the ears fold forward into soft triangles, and a few short lines mark the loose skin at the chest and shoulder.

The rest of the drawing stays deliberately plain. There is no background, no pattern and no scenery, and the outlines are thick and evenly weighted throughout.

That makes this a good first sheet for a young child. Every region is large, the borders are easy to see, and nothing needs a fine point to reach. Anyone older can still get something out of it by grading a single tone from dark at the back to light across the chest, which turns the flat shape into a solid body.
