Bulldog Puppy Napping on a Blanket Coloring Page

The bulldog on this page has fallen fast asleep on a folded blanket and shows no sign of waking. Both eyes are closed into soft curves, the heavy jowls spread out to each side, and the front paws stretch forward across the cloth with the toes slightly parted.

Fine stipple dots cover the muzzle where the whiskers grow, and the wrinkles across the forehead and around the nose are drawn as separate open lines rather than as shading. The blanket folds into long soft curves beneath the dog, with a delicate vine pattern worked into the fabric.

A band of large open flowers runs along the top of the sheet and another along the bottom, joined by thin curling spirals that drift into the empty space on either side of the head. The flower middles are ringed with small petals, which gives you somewhere to put a second or third tone.

This is an adult sheet. The floral borders and the fabric pattern hold a lot of small enclosed areas, so pencils suit it better than markers, and it rewards being worked on across more than one sitting.
