Beagle Puppy With Floppy Ears Sniffing The Ground Coloring Page
A beagle puppy drops its head below its shoulders to sniff, both long ears hanging forward. Clean lines, lots of white space.

The puppy stands on all four legs with its head dropped well below the line of its shoulders and its nose pointed at the floor. Both ears hang forward past the jaw, long and rounded at the tips. The tail lifts behind. Nothing else appears on the sheet, not even a ground line, so the dog sits on plain white paper.
The outline stays clean and unbroken, with no fur hatching to work around. Ten or so closed shapes make up the whole animal, which suits a four or five year old and also suits anyone who wants to try markers without worrying about bleeding into fine detail.
Beagles come in a standard three color pattern, so use it: a black saddle over the back, tan across the head, ears and legs, white on the chest, muzzle, paws and tail tip. Leaving those paws and that tail tip white is what makes the finished page read as a beagle rather than as a generic brown dog.
The lowered head is not decoration. A beagle following a scent drops its nose to within an inch or two of the ground, and the long ears swing forward and help stir scent up toward it.
