A pig stands facing you with one front leg lifted beside its head, mid wave. It is the friendliest page in the set and the one most likely to end up taped to a fridge.
The body is a single large oval with no lines across it. A tuft of hair stands up on top of the head between two ears, two round filled eyes sit above a wide snout, and a broad smile runs underneath. Two short back legs come down to plain trotters and the tail curls once at the right.
There are perhaps six separate areas to color on the whole sheet, which makes it genuinely suitable for a small child working alone. Chunky crayons and broad markers suit this one better than anything sharp.
The raised leg is worth a moment of thought. Because it crosses in front of the head, coloring it the same shade as the body lets it disappear into the face. Take it one step darker, or outline the edge in a deeper tone, and the wave reads instantly. That single choice is the difference between a pig with a strange lump on its cheek and a pig that is clearly saying hello.
