A pig has reared up onto its back legs to reach a sunflower, and the two of them take up the page together. The pig is on the left, stretched upward with one front leg raised and its snout almost touching the bloom. The flower stands on the right on a tall straight stem.

The sunflower carries most of the detail. A full ring of long separate petals surrounds a center drawn as a fine spiral, and two broad leaves branch off the stem with a third lower down. Every petal is its own closed shape, so they can each take a slightly different shade without the flower falling apart.

The pig, by contrast, is drawn in clean simple lines with an open body and no interior work at all. That contrast is the appeal of the sheet: one half rewards patience, the other does not ask for any.

Yellow into orange across the petals, working from the tip inward, gives the flower depth with very little effort. Leave the spiral center pale and it reads as seeds. The empty paper behind both figures means a sky wash, if you want one, will not fight anything already on the page.
