Pig Rolling On Its Back Coloring Page

A pig flipped over with all four legs in the air, drawn as one fat circle. The silliest page in the collection.

This pig has rolled onto its back and is thoroughly pleased about it. The body is drawn as one fat circle, the head is tucked round to the right with the snout pointing up, and all four legs stick straight into the air above it.

It is the only upside down pose in the collection and children tend to pick it first for exactly that reason. The curly tail spirals away at the left, and a couple of short motion lines behind the back suggest the roll is still in progress.

Almost the whole drawing is one enclosed area, so there is very little to plan. Pick a body color, fill the circle, and the page is essentially done. That is what makes this a good sheet for a child who wants a quick win, or for the end of a long session when nobody has the patience for detail.

If you want more from it, the four raised trotters are the place to look. Taking those a shade or two darker than the body pulls the eye upward and makes the legs read as legs rather than four stubs on a ball. The snout takes the same treatment nicely.
