Pig Face Close Up Coloring Page
Nothing but a pig's face, blown up until it fills the paper. The easiest sheet here and the best one for a toddler.

The head fills the entire page and there is no body at all. That makes this the simplest sheet in the set and the right place to start a child who is still learning to keep a crayon inside a line.
Everything is oversized. The snout is an enormous disc set low in the face with two solid nostrils inside it. Two eyes sit well apart above it, both filled in, and a small tuft of hair stands up between two floppy ears. A wide curved mouth runs beneath the snout. The outlines are thick and black, and there are no fine interior lines anywhere to get lost in.
Because the shapes are so few and so large, this page rewards bold color rather than careful color. Thick markers, chunky crayons and even paint all work. There are really only four areas to decide on: the face, the snout, the two ears and the tuft of hair.
A good trick is to take the snout one clear step darker than the face. Pigs really do look like that, and on a drawing this size the contrast is visible from across a room, which is exactly what a young child wants from a finished page.
