A penguin stands at the very top of an iceberg in the middle of this page, head tipped back and beak pointing up toward the corner. Its body is long and upright, with a smooth pale front panel taking up most of the chest and short feathery strokes marking the darker shoulders and the back of the head. Both flippers hang down close against the sides, and two clawed feet grip the ice at the summit.
The iceberg below it is drawn as a steep pyramid split by long vertical cracks that run from the peak down to the bottom edge of the paper, breaking the whole face into tall narrow panels. A pair of straight lines runs off to the left and right at its base for the waterline.
Around the edges the page is decorated much more lightly. Two curling flourishes with small blooms sit in the top corners, two six armed snowflakes float at either side of the iceberg, and more feathery sprays fill the lower corners. Those ornaments are drawn in a noticeably finer line than the bird and the ice, so plan on a thinner pen for them.
