Panda Surrounded By Beautiful Cherry Blossoms Coloring Page

A panda looks directly out of the page, head and shoulders only, filling the middle of the sheet. Frontal animal faces are unusual in this collection and this one holds up well. The eyes sit inside heavy dark patches that angle down toward the muzzle, the nose is broad and rounded, and a line runs from it to a small closed mouth.

The fur is the real work. Short strokes radiate outward from the face, dense at the cheeks and along the crown, thinning as they reach the chest. Both ears are filled solid, which frames the white face and gives the whole thing its structure.

Blossom branches press in from the left and the right and close over the top. The flowers are five petals each with a dotted center, some fully open and some still tight buds on thin twigs, and they overlap enough that a single pink across all of them would flatten the layers. Vary the tone front to back.

The corners carry ornamental scrollwork drawn in a noticeably lighter line than the rest. Treat it as a border rather than as part of the scene and leave it pale.
