A lion cub sits with its head tipped toward the viewer and a butterfly perched at each ear. Both butterflies are drawn with their wings open and divided into panels, antennae curled, one settled against the cub's cheek and the other resting on the far ear. The cub itself is mostly face: two large filled eyes with a bright catchlight left in each, a wide triangular nose, an open grin and a short mane that lifts into a point above the brow. Its front paws sit flat with the toes marked off, and a long tail loops away to the right and ends in a pointed tuft. Three tufts of grass mark the ground.
The wing panels are the smallest closed areas here and the only fussy part of the sheet. Everything else is generous.
A good approach is to color the two butterflies first and repeat one of their tones somewhere on the cub, in an ear or the nose, so the three of them look like they belong in the same picture. Keep the cub's body pale and let the wings carry the strongest color. The grass can stay bare if you want the white to read as bright daylight.
