One frog face fills almost the whole sheet. Two large domed eyes sit up at the top, two small nostrils sit between them, and the mouth runs from one side of the head to the other in a wide grin. Only the front feet show at the bottom edge, so there is nothing else competing for attention. A page this simple is worth having in any set, because it is the one a two or three year old can actually finish, and finishing matters more than detail at that age. The eyes come already filled dark with a bright highlight left in each, which means a child can hand the whole page a single color and it still looks deliberate. There is enough open space inside the head for a scribble to land well. Frogs really do have eyes shaped like this, sitting high and domed outward so they can watch almost all the way around without turning their heads.
