This is the easiest sheet in the frog collection and the one to hand a preschooler first. A cartoon frog sits facing forward with two big round eyes on top of its head and a wide smile across the whole width of its face. The shapes are as large as they get here, the outlines are thick, and there are no small gaps for a crayon to get stuck in. A three year old can finish it without help and without losing interest halfway. Green is the expected answer and nobody has ever been talked out of it, but frogs come in red, blue, yellow and orange in the real world, so any color your child picks is defensible. Point at the eyes on top of the head and explain that a frog sits in water with only its eyes above the surface, watching. Children usually try it in the bath that evening. Print two copies if you have two children, because this is the sheet they will both want.
