Jellyfish Floating in the Sea Coloring Page
A smooth domed jellyfish floats on open white paper, its long tentacles curling down in single unbroken strokes.

Despite the title, no sea is drawn here. The jellyfish hangs on plain white paper with nothing around it, which turns out to suit the subject, since the creature is mostly transparent anyway.
Its bell is a smooth high dome with a scalloped lower rim, and a small face sits near the right edge of it: one eye with a solid center and a short curved mouth. Everything below is tentacles. Six or seven fall from under the bell, each a single unbroken stroke that wanders, crosses its neighbors and tapers to a fine point. One loops back on itself into a wide open curl before dropping again.
Line weight stays light throughout and the enclosed areas are few, so this is a quick sheet rather than a long one.
Because those tentacles are single strokes rather than closed shapes, they cannot be filled. They have to be traced over or left alone. A thin marker run alongside each one, or a soft pencil line doubling it, gives them presence without turning them into ribbons.
On the bell, a pale wash deepening toward the scalloped rim reads as translucent. Heavy flat color makes it look solid, which is the one thing a jellyfish should never look.
