Water on this page is three stacked wavy lines running edge to edge across the bottom third, and the fish has already cleared them. It arcs through the upper half with its head at the right and its tail curled back down to the left, caught at the top of the jump.

Six teardrop shapes fall away from its underside, spaced out rather than clustered, each an open outline you can tint or leave clear. A ridge of short scallops runs along the back where the dorsal fin lies flat.

Otherwise the body is plain. One fin sits mid flank with a few short strokes, the eye is small and solid, the mouth is a single curve. Nothing is crowded.

Those three water lines repeat at slightly different amplitudes, giving you three long ribbons of even width to work through. They are the easiest place on the sheet to practice holding a steady tone across a long thin shape.

If you want depth, take the lowest ribbon darkest and lighten as you move up. The fish then sits clearly in front of the water instead of on top of it.
