Clownfish With Three Bands Coloring Page

A chunky clownfish drawn in thick bold outline, three bands across its body and plenty of open space inside every shape.

Everything on this sheet is oversized on purpose. The outline is among the heaviest in this section, the body is a single fat oval, and there are fewer than a dozen closed regions on the whole page. For a child still learning to stop at a line, that is the point.

Three bands cross from back to belly, each drawn as a pair of close lines rather than a filled stripe, so the band becomes a thin shape to work in rather than an area to leave alone. One sits behind the head, one across the middle, one just ahead of the tail.

Nearly a third of the length is head. Its eye is a large solid circle with a small catchlight, the mouth is one short upward curve, and nothing else competes with them.

Fins stay simple: a rounded hump on the back, a fanned tail at the left on four spokes, one pectoral and two small ones underneath.

Orange with white bands is the obvious route. Worth saying out loud though, those bands print as line pairs, so leaving them uncolored is what makes them read as white. Fill everything and the pattern disappears.
