Elephant With Huge Ears Spread Wide Open Coloring Page
A young elephant faces forward with its ears thrown out as far as they go, standing between two small tufts of grass.

The ears are drawn at the limit of what the page will hold. Each one sweeps out almost to the edge of the sheet, wider than the animal's whole body, and each carries only three or four long fold lines so most of that area stays open.
Beneath them the elephant is simple: a rounded head with a short bristle of hair on top, two round eyes with solid pupils, a trunk ringed with evenly spaced creases running straight down, and two short tusks curving out from either side of it. Four sturdy legs end in separate rounded toenails, and a thin tail loops out to the right.
There is almost nothing else. Two small clumps of grass mark the ground, and the rest of the page is white.
This is the easiest sheet in the elephant set and the one to hand to a small child. The enclosed areas are all large, the outline is thick and unbroken, and there is no fine detail to miss.
For anyone wanting more from it, the ears are a gift. They are the one place with enough room to try a gradient, running darker toward the outer rim and fading back toward the head, without needing any extra lines to guide you.
